Choose the moments that matter

For many dogs, the best wedding role is short and meaningful: getting ready for a few minutes, walking into the ceremony, joining portraits, or appearing during a quiet part of the reception.

Build a dog timeline inside the wedding timeline

Write down who has the lead, where the dog rests, when they eat, where they can toilet, how they travel and what happens immediately after their photos. The dog’s plan should not depend on a bridesmaid remembering between speeches.

Have an exit before you need one

Even a social dog can become tired by music, unfamiliar people, children, heat or constant attention. A quiet room or private sitter gives them a real break and gives you permission to stay present at your own wedding.
